You said you have faith,
That can move a mountain
Yet you live in immense fear
Of what might have been;
You said you believe
Even confess your sins
Yet you know in your heart
There’s emptiness within;
You talk and walk with saints
And pretend to be one,
Yet you bless and then curse
What’s wrong with your tongue?
You said you love others
Willing to lend a hand,
Yet you judge a sinner
And never give a dime.
You read the Bible
from morning till night
You gain enough knowledge
Yet you never know God.
You say, “Lord, Lord”
But never trust His Word
Your master is yourself
Pride is your own sword.
If you are offended
by the words in this poem
I think it’s about time
To examine your soul..
So humble yourself now,
Admit you have sinned,
Repent , return to God
And be made whole again.
When God sees our brokenness, our faults, our weaknesses, all He sees is a valuable creation that He loves so very much. And if we are willing, He can transform us into the most beautiful vessel, inside and out.

A very good word. I think, too, it is important to remember to not look too far inward, but, LOOK UP, humbly repent and acknowledge our need of soul restoration from the only One who can restore both soul and spirit.
Gloria, You have hit on a very special truth that by becoming 'weak and humble' before the Lord, we can then be strengthened by HIM! And that gives us a strength that we cannot possess on our own. Yes, we are all so sinful and imperfect - but the wonderful thing is that God knows this and STILL LOVES US and wants to FORGIVE US. But, we need to take that all-important step to be humble before Him. It is the simplest, yet hardest, thing to do. This was an excellent message!
Oh, like Barbara, I wish we could see the articles while we are writing our comments. I hope someone from FW will see this and maybe create a format where this is possible. God bless you, Gloria. LOve, SiS Peggy
