THE ARMS OF JESUS

When I grow tired and weary
Of carrying my load
When everything seems dreary
And friends seem so cold.

I run to the arms of Jesus
Thru prayer provided by him
I rest in the arms of my savior
And things of this world grow dim.

The comforting arms of Jesus
So tender with loving care
His inviting and everlasting arms
Thru stormy weather and fair

Oh, the arms of Jesus, strong and true
Outstretched with love to me...to you
Nothing can harm or lead astray
When his arms enfold you...there you will stay

Yes, it is the arms of Jesus only that really brings the comfort and security that we long for. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, Connie, you are a poet. This poem is truer and truer as we get older. The arms of Jesus are always there to comfort us. Thank you.
