THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT
Fruits of the Spirit, You want to rule in me;
Are LOVE:
For you willing gave Your Son, to set all the captives free!
To have JOY:
For when Jesus ascended to Heaven, it’s a Gift He left for all to receive!
To live in PEACE:
Peace that surpasses all understanding, given to you from He!
In our LONGSUFFERING:
It is in these times of suffering that destroys the flesh in me!
For GENTLENESS:
The result of self denial, shed abroad through thee!
In GOODNESS:
When self has died, this is the reward they will see!
Hold to FAITH:
All though you can not see, you know one day it will be!
Thru MEEKNESS:
To be easily imposed upon, by a world in great need!
To have TEMPERANCE:
No longer ruled by flesh, but ready to be utilized by THE GREAT ALMIGHTY!!
