There was once a woman who wanted o pretty little garden where she could relax and find peace for her soul. A spot was chosen and she set about preparing the ground. When everything was just right, she chose the perfect flowers and arranged them in the warm soil.Shortly,a lovely garden grew and she would spend many summer days amongst the fragrance and beauty of the quiet place. Often she would find herslf reflecting on the goodness of her Heavenly Father.
There came a time when she was called to leave her home and to serve him in a far away place.She would leave her friends, that which had been familiar and the comfort of her 'quiet place'. As the days passed, lonliness enveloped her. Though she served by doing whatever task laid before her, life was not as she expected. An opportunity arose to plant another garden in this new setting. The soil was different...instead of rich loam was a claylike substance that held water in little pools. And the flowers were not of her choosing or preference.Sometimes through tears she tended the garden wishing it could be like the one at home. One day, a clump of greenery sprung up from the ground that was not in keeping with anythin she had planted. Bending down to pull it out she felt a quiet prompting deep within her to let them be.Within a few days, the green clump produced buds with a familiar look. From those buds bloomed the most beautiful patch of her favorite flowers in many colors. How could this be...again came the quiet prompting deep with her soul:
"As I was with you there
I am with you here.
As I cared for you there
I will provide all that you need in this
place.
This is My bouquet to you."
