ďYouíve Got MailĒ
By Mary Lou Tiner

Imagine now what might have been, two thousand years ago,
If God had sent an email to tell the world He loved them so.

Godís Email first would have to pass the filtersí scrutiny.
Rule #1: delete the mail, when itís unknown to me.

I always doubt a message that is sent out to the masses.
And we all know the dangers of those scams that lead to crashes.

And if this Email managed to appear there on my screen,
Would I even take the time to see what it could mean?

Would I type a google search, for sources I can trust?
Or log into another site where this email was discussed?

I might delete the message, sending it to cyberspace,
And Iíd never hear God calling out to me with love and grace.

Twitter, Facebook, SMS cannot communicate
The love God has for all of us, a love so pure and great.

God doesnít need a server or high speed internet,
No virtual reality can pay a sinnerís debt.

God didnít send an email that never would be read.
God showed His love by sending us His only Son instead.
