Satan held a worldwide convention at the headquarters in Hell. In his opening address to his evil angels, he said,
“We can’t keep people from entering the kingdom of God like we tried in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. We can’t keep them knowing the truth and reading the bible as there are now so many missions going on and different translations of the bible are being released. We can’t keep them from going to church as there are also so many of them. So, I have decided that its time for us to do something else”.
The Evil one continued,” Since we can’t keep them from entering the kingdom of our enemy, we can stop them from being effective in the world them around them. We will accomplish this by setting traps to defile them! When they become defiled they loose their power in the place of prayer. They become so vulnerable- so vulnerable that we can easily infect them with excessive guilt and depression making them loose sight of the mercy and compassion of our enemy.”
“Imagine, He said emphatically, the impact an adulterous pastor in a 10000 congregation will have when discovered?
“Imagine, the effect the lies and corruption of a Christian will have in an office when caught? Imagine the humiliation that will come to them when we publish their dirty linen.”
“How shall we do this?” asked the unclean angels. “How can we set successful traps? They inquired.
“Saturate and over stimulate their senses with lies about sex, sex symbols”
“Flood the media houses, magazine, bill boards with sexual activities, pornography; make it all easily accessible in the internet and every electronic device. Tell them that their bodies are theirs to do as they please at any time”.
“Convince their pastors that all they need to have a successful ministry is money. Tell them that money not only answers to all things but is THE answer to all things.”
“Occupy their minds with motivational talks that have nothing to do with Our Enemy. Let them feel that they can do it by their own strength and will”.
“Fragment their families through intolerance, impatience, unforgiveness, anger and exhaustion. Make wives resent their responsibilities to their husbands and their homes. Make husbands neglect their wives and children in the pressure of work and leave them defenseless”.
Satan continued to bark orders, “Inflict them with self pride and over confidence in their past victories, loosing focus in Christ strength in them”.
“As the world keeps shrinking to a global village, make them forget the coming of The Risen One and concentrate on catching up and owning the latest technologies”.
“Make their world so noisy that they cannot hear the still small Voice of the precautionary guardian- The Holy Spirit. When they disobey Him, make them feel so guilty and fallen from grace and mercy that they will only think of opting out the Kingdom of God”.
“When they read the Bible, distract their minds with their many problems that they will only get the letters of the words they read not the Life in them, making them loose faith in the very faith they believe in”.
“Criticize them in everything they do that they get so confused and compromise the standard of our enemy- Holiness”
“When things go tough, show them attractive, easy- to- do shortcuts that will lead to their destruction and when they do – let the whole world hear of the consequences.
“Soon, the world will see how weak they are and give up hope in them; making them ineffective in the world. Then, their presence wouldn’t make any different at all.”
It was quite an interesting convention. The demons went to their assignments; setting nice, neatly decorated disguised traps as Christians went about ignorantly their own way.
