Today's blessings and tomorrow's sorrows
Just another part of the time we borrow
What will come and what will go
It is not always for us to know
Our lives, like vapor in the wind
Sometimes it is over before it begins
The length of time matters not as much
As the number of hearts and lives you touch
There are too many that have never heard
Not one tiniest bit of the Living Word
Yet here you are, what can little me do
Answer the call that the Spirit has for you
God has a purpose for each and every one
What we can do in the name of His Son
Each have the tools to perform the tasks
Gifts given before you could even ask
Take and use what the Lord has given
That infinite power that comes from heaven
Use it for God's wonderous glory
Write the happy ending of your life's story
Family in Christ,
This is just a little poem to remind us that each of us has a purpose in Christ. Each of us has an assignment in this little span of time called life. James says "faith without works is dead". That doesn't mean you can work your way into heaven. It means that you do in faith and through faith things that need to be done. It should be because the heart inside you has been changed and that the love you have for Christ is the love you share with man.
Hungry need food; the thirst need water; The naked need clothed; The broken need healing; The sad need comfort. What need can you meet with the Lord has provided you?
God bless and keep serving.
In Christ,
Christian

Am I where I need to be to do what the Lord has for me to do today? That is my everlasting prayer - and the answer is found in how closely my heart is inclined toward His. Prayers for all His saints, that we all abide closely and intimately in Him that His love will touch all who are seeking. Blessings, Christian for your simple message of reminder.
Christian- Thank you for sharing this wonderful reminder of our duty as Christian to represent Christ by sharing our faith with others. It does not good to hide it in the closet!
