YONDER WORSHIP
“And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you” (Gen 22:5).

Scripture Reading: Gen 22:1-19

There are certain places everybody can’t just go with you. Abraham asked the people with him to wait so he can go yonder and worship. Going yonder to worship means you disconnecting yourself from well meaning relationships. You need to spend a personal time with your Maker. Going only to Sunday school service is just not enough, you need to go the extra mile. Lay down the issues of life that are weighing you down so you can go yonder and worship (Heb. 12:1, 2). At yonder, you are strengthened to walk the Christian life. You are empowered to live beyond average. Are you still standing at the bottom of the mountain, start climbing. When you go yonder, it is the time you are renewed and empowered for your Christian walk. Do you desire to be a “spiritual guru”? You don’t want to miss that time of yonder worship, I believe so.

Prayer: Like Abraham, I desire to have a personal walk with you, Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Activity: Take your personal quiet time serious and meditate on every scripture you study.
