Lord I've come to meet you here to talk about my friend
I didn't know where else to turn and I can't see whats up ahead
My heart is quite worried weighed down with unshed tears
Because my friend I care about is facing my worst fear
And Lord there is nothing I can say that would make everything all right
There is no way she could hear my prayers that fill the silence of the night
Lord this lovely lady, is so dear to me
Because your light inside her has helped me Lord to see
When I was lost and hurting, her love it showed the way
She cares so much for everyone I finally saw the light of day
Beckoned by a servants heart that bid me now to see
Untill you live for others you can't experience the love Jesus gives for free
I bet there is no counting all the lives her heart has warmed
Because she submits to others Lord their lives have been transformed
Love one another as I have first loved you is the commandment she has filled
So Lord wrap her in your loving arms till all her fears are stilled
Heal her Lord of all her pain and make her feel brand new
Because the harvest now is ready Lord but the labourers are few
