I closed my eyes; no more to breathe then Jesus came to me.
“Take my hand,” He said, “and I will lead you to the promised
land.” But my family Lord, my loss will cause them pain. “I
will give them peace my child and their pain shall fade away.”
But my job, Lord, who will take my place? “Your job is now
complete, upon this earth you shall toil no more. For I have
important work for you in heaven that will give you much
pleasure, come with me.”
I have sinned, my lord, why would you choose me? You know
not what I have done to my fellow man. “I know all,” He said,
“But your sins were erased when you called my name. Take my
hand and I will lead you into glory.”
I can not face the Father, Lord, I am ashamed, for His name I have
taken in vain. Surely He will not forgive me that. “The Fathers love
for His children is abundant my child, He will cherish you, for
you were cleansed by the sacrificial lamb. Take my hand,”
He said, “and I will lead You to the Father, in the Promised Land.”
