Now here is something to think about on the debate over National Health Care:
Social Security program is the largest government program in the world and the single greatest expenditure in the federal budget and it is BROKE.
Medicaid is the United States health program for eligible individuals and families with low incomes and resources is BROKE.
Medicare is a social insurance program administered by the United States government, providing health insurance coverage to people who are aged 65 and over, or who meet other special criteria and is BROKE.
Veteran Affairs or VA Hospital goal is to provide excellence in patient care, yet it is BROKE and is not ran efficiently.
US Post Office operation and is BROKE
The Federal Dept of Education budgeted BILLIONS of dollars every year, yet teachers are under paid, school buildings are collapsing and school districts across the nation are BROKE
And what makes you think that the federal government will be able to manage a national (single payer) health care system efficiently when they can't run the above programs efficiently?
Put it this way, would you buy stocks in a company that displays this kind of track record and return?
