Kindly stepping forth with halting
Words that say ‘No more of this.’
O the understanding manner
Checking our impetuous deed.
Knows that zeal wrongly directed
Doesn’t heal but does impede.
O the healing restoration
From His powerful loving hand,
Bringing order back from chaos,
Saying ‘Trust, I understand.’
