I just wanted to write up and praise the Lord for the fair the Lord opened the door to.
We had committed to 11 kids school costs in Bethseda Children's Ministry in Nakuru, Kenya, for $770.00 which may not have been too smart since we don't have that kind of
money coming through along with the other commitments weekly.
By the time it was due I was feeling repentant for my perhaps presumptions and giddiness and maybe a bit too bold.
But I thank the Lord so, when we looked and sought for an open
door as to where it would come from, a door opened divinely right at the right time.
I had looked, doors to shows seemed not open, but then, this opened up.
The fair cost was much more than we could do. I knew we couldn't afford it, and it was a week away with few teddy bears completed, none really done.
I was skidding on this, also, having just made and sent off most of my teddy bear product, and only with a small week to work.
I decided to send my three pictures that would fit in the email and show our things and mention that I could not afford it, what we do it for and that if we could perhaps do it next year, and
be on the list. I committed it to the Lord and sent it. I ask for no favors, it was a simple letter, but I did commit it to the Lord and then sent it.
The next day the lady in charge emailed and really liked our things and told us we could be in the fair this year, arrangements were made, and I thank the Lord, all the money
came at the time needed, by the seat of our pants, but still, timely and it came, and no one knew but us what a skid that was.
We ended up being given two spaces to set up and that worked out wonderfully.
The most I ever made for a show is around two hundred, but we made for our profits, the amount for the kids school uniforms.
We totaled around 900.00 or so, but when deductions and costs were made on consignments and expenses, we came out with the amount for the costs for the schooling pretty much to the T.
We couldn't help but see the Lord's hand on it all. His care, His love, His doing for the Bethseda kids. These are homeless, abandoned, or orphaned children.
It reminds me so of the Scripture, ask whatever you will in my Name and it will be done for you.
Jesus lets us know in the Scriptures it is so we will bear fruit, and so that our Lord is glorified and many thanksgivings will ring out to our Lord and God.
We saw one young man ask the Lord Jesus into his life there.
We saw many doors open to fellowship. And some to business.
We thank the Lord so for it all.
His Joy was very present in the small trials. Joy was very present every day through any and all trials.
He has always done this, to provide, since we started this work and I have not seen one time that He has not brought the need for the different people and kids since we started
if we stepped out and committed it to Him.
It often reminds me of the small victories like in the Bible.
He is Victorious.
Though nothing is small in Him, or Him giving it, these are small in comparison to some things others face or we may face one day, these trials and small things. But I am assured that it will always be the Lord Jesus bringing though.
The last time we needed help for food for the 11 new kids at Bethseda the Lord used the craft site and teddy bears and the amount came the night we ask Him for help and cried out, the
195.00 was needed and it came right after the asking through a means I hardly sell on.
This time, with the fair, I couldn't make teddies and get none done. lol!
It is always His doing. Always Him!
We came home after the show, and found someone had put three decorative jars in our flower box at the shop for us as
a donation! How sweet! As much as we made, it hardly I seems to me to have depleted the shop. lol! I do so thank the Lord!
I saw at this show, also, while doing it, how very much I need to be attentive to others, even the Body of Christ needs to be encouraged and watered in his love that outpours out to others.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
