War has been declared on the small community of Anadarko, OK. Particularly its Spiritual believers; But not only them, believers everywhere. This is personal. An atrocious thing has happened within the sacred walls of a small church to one who felt called to preach the word of God. A precious lamb has been slain and the scene described as horrific.
For this horror to have happened in a small rural community in the Bible Belt of Oklahoma, where churches probably outnumber retail and grocery stores 10 to 1 is a direct confrontation of the enemy. Pastors should begin to teach your flock the basics of Spiritual Warfare. No lamb of God is slain in vain. Good must come from this in the awakening of spiritual troops to the call of battle to engage themselves in this war against evil.
The enemy intends that this should incite fear within the hearts of believers. But what it must incite in the reality that the time has come for the faith-filled to enter vigorously into the battle against the forces of evil; to turn back this tide that is trying to engulf our communities and Nation. We can no longer be passive churchgoers. No, the time has come to pick up your weapons and fight the good fight of faith.
Allow me to clarify this to any non-believers who might be reading this article. Picking up your weapons to fight the good fight of faith is not guns, knives and bullets. No, it's something profoundly more powerful: The only weapon capable of entering into the spiritual realm of battle and annihilating the forces of evil: the mighty word of God.
From this article go a step further to engage yourself in the Tactics of Spiritual Warfare. The following article link was written several weeks ago and obviously intended for such a time as this. Some recent revisions have been inserted due to the Anadarko tragedy. http://www.faithwriters.com/article-details.php?id=101446
