Forty eight times a day everyday a salesman comes to call at precisely 7:06 a.m. and 7:06 p.m. He plans his visits from a list of warm leads in advance and never sells the same person twice. This particular individual travels the world constantly and knows exactly where he is headed and whom he is going to see, and he is never late. However, he does not bother confirming appointment times with anyone. He just shows up. Once he arrives for a visit his business is always concluded by midnight, whether it is a 7:06 a.m. visit or a 7:06 p.m. visit. This traveler schedules his most time consuming visits in the morning so he may have more time to close the more difficult deals. By day’s end he has circled the globe having met with all 48 people at precisely 7:06.
And oh, how lucrative of a business he has! He does business in every country of the world, and has such a backlog of prospects it will take almost all of eternity to get to each and every one. He is quite passionate about his work, especially the tough sales. Because he quickly sums up an individual’s weaknesses and really does his homework on each and every prospect, his offers can be hard to refuse.
He has tried to see me, but in the end I had nothing to do with him. I don’t want what he is selling and for that matter his price is too high. Might you be on his list to visit? If so, I recommend you hold out for a better deal. There is another that does not make you strictly materialistic promises that you might want to do business with instead. I have done business with this other One and I am quite happy with the deal I made. However, that does not prevent the world traveler I speak of from trying to steal my business from the other One. He still knocks on my door from time to time.
By now I suppose you may have an inkling of whom I am referring to. Do you? Has he come to see you? If not, when he does I hope you have the strength to turn him away. It is easy to recognize him if you know where to look as he bears the mark, the same mark he uses to schedule all of his visits. Confused? Don’t be. 7:06 is the sixth hour plus 60 minutes and 6 additional minutes. The mark and the time are one and the same, 666. Just as he disguises himself, he hides the mark in the timing of all of his visits. So be wary of anyone that arrives at precisely 7:06. It could cost you your soul!
