"Peanut butter? No way! Peanut butter is sticky!" It is a long standing joke in our home that my husband, Mark, will not eat peanut butter defending his position with this feeble excuse. I grew up on peanut butter. Crackers and peanut butter along with a nice hot cup of tea was a staple in our house right alongside potatoes and rice!
In order to prove his argument, Mark has resorted to the most outrageous of tactics. One day he fed a large tablespoon full of peanut butter to Bubbles, our little beagle. He laughed histerically as the poor pup licked and licked and licked, trying to get the glue-like substance off the roof of her mouth. How I wished I could offer her a cup of hot tea to melt away the goo!
Have you ever been in a sticky situation? Maybe you have found yourself in a place where the more you struggled and squirmed, the more firmly entrenched in your stickiness you became.
