Is God Your Friend? God can be your friend. He has become my friend many years ago. I have known Him for years now. It seems like it has been forever! The times that God and I have spent a long time now. God and I have our tea time to chat with one another. We sit in the living room by the coffee table together for hours talking to each other. I can tell Him everything that is going on in my life. Everything as in, the personal things that we don't want anyone else to know. We have that kind of a relationship.
My God is worthy of His trust. Trust to know that He will be right there by our side for all the days that we have here on earth. He walks beside me everywhere I go. I feel His prescence everyday of every moment in my life. I can almost hear the footsteps that tap behind me as He walks in front of me. He walks in front of me in order to guide me properly into the ways He wants for me to go. That is what my God does for me. He gently leads me into the steps He wants for me to follow.
He follows me closely. Very closely, so that I may not run into trouble, He can show me the ways I need to go. But sometimes when this happens the Devil starts to step into my life. This makes it hard for God to keep me on the right path. I venture off into things I know that I should not go. Somehow, God always knows how to speak to my heart and grab my attention. He grabs my attention so hard to let me know I am wrong in the path I have chosen.
He wants for us to be close to Him. He longs to be invited into our hearts. When we take that moment to let Him enter our hearts. He then become Lord of your life. He becomes our friend and Lord of all!
