Abortion has remained legal in the United States for thirty-six years because the pro-death side took the time build their case: They documented their evidence, introduced their evidence into the congressional record, and they advertised their case in the media. To get Roe-V-Wade overturned, We must have a strategy too! This article will offer a five part plan to get Roe-V-Wade overturned in spite of President Obama's radical agenda.
The first step is to find funding – which will not be easy in this economy, but the power of the world-wide-web could be used. Christian businesses can be one source, but they can not be the only source. Using more volunteers could help bring down the cost; these will mostly be retired people with time-to-spare. A stable source of millions of people who donate a small amount of money regularly will also be needed. Since younger people are more likely to have jobs and use the net, asking for donations online may be the best bet. An other idea is to start online charity-business that support pro-life causes; for example, I plan to start selling used books on-line to support Feed the Children. Next comes deciding how the money will be spent.
Second, spend the money on building more homes for unwed mothers near abortion mills. These 'homes' need to provide training in gainful online careers; for example, medical transcription or classes in starting an on-line business as well as food, shelter, and clothes. Volunteers in these fields needs to be found. Construction crews need to be hired now. When these 'homes' are completed, the number of abortions will drop dramatically! Fewer abortions is the most effective way to drain away Planned Parenthood's funding.
Third, we must gather and introduce new evidence into the congressional record which shows that abortion is obsolete! The pro-death crowed argues that embryos left over after fertility treatments will just be thrown away. We need to counter this argument with opportunity of embryonic adoption. Some couples have allowed their embryos that were not used to be adopted by other infertile couples (look up Snow Flakes adoption). This can also counter the argument that abortion is necessary because of rape: Once the technology to transfer the zygote to the adoptive mother is perfected, the genetic mother need not face pregnancy. Answer claims of infringed freedom with the technology to store or transfer zygotes. Imagine a bill being introduced into congress that would take money away from Planned Parenthood and give it to this more hopeful alternative! Planned Parenthood will already be weakened because of the fewer abortions; this will deal them another serious financial blow. They will not be able to leverage much of a legal or media fight then!
These fresh forward-looking arguments will sway the public and congress that abortion is not necessary only if money is spent on a massive media campaign to inform the public that such. This is why such a media campaign is step four in ending abortion. It must be made clear that planned Parenthood is opposing progress in women's health by opposing the study of these advancements. This must also be entered into the congressional record.
The last step is a massive and relentless legal campaign. It will start with doctors still performing abortions being sued for using substandard medical methods and end with Roe-V-Wade being struck down! All pro-life groups must band together and put forth the funding to have the best lawyers assemble all the evidence against abortion. At last the facts will be heard on how dangerous abortion really is. Have every abortion-related death and serious complication read in congress. Do not stop until the law is changed!
This is completely fair because it is the exact same technique the abortion-industry has used to get abortion legalized and get federal funding for it! It is also gives women better choices instead of cruel compromises. It also completely honest; technology has advanced to the point that we need to be talking about and investigating these alternatives for the advancement of women's health.
