Your path has brought you to holy ground. Before your very feet the path is inviting you into the realm of the timeless city. All those who dwell there, who make it their long home are timeless as well. Be glad and rejoice, this is the shout of recognition, the winning of a prize, and the wonder of happiness earned.
47. Victory
Clap your hands together everyone, shout a victory song to the Lord. He is fearfully strong and is a great King over all the earth. He will subdue all people for us and put all nations under our feet. He will choose our inheritance for us, following the excellency of our fathers whom He loved.
God goes up with a shout, with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to Him, sing praises and sing some more. He is the King of all the earth, sing praises with understanding. God reigns over the godless as well, He sits on a throne of holiness.
The princes of the people are gathered together, the people who have always known Him. The shields of this earth all belong to Him and we hold his name high.
We have found the Holy City and there is a celebration going on. The King and his princes are singing a victory song because we made it here. We are near the capital of the kingdom and we are its citizens because the city also lives in us. The Lord is choosing our inheritance because He loved our fathers and He loves us. We sing and sing, and sing some more because we know we are shielded by his name.
This lesson is about thinking in the cycle of three, but action, thought and emotion are beginning to merge as we get nearer to the end of the seventh cycle of seven. Our God is our King and we are allowed into his city and his presence: we are protected by his shields, but beware, He reigns over the godless as well. A little of everything can be found in every Psalm and a little of everything is in everyone. We clap and sing, we know God is choosing our inheritance and we rejoice with great feeling. We are God’s people who know how to sing with understanding. Allowing Him in our hearts puts us in His and there is nothing left to do right now but be happy and celebrate.
