I've not written anything in several days
So many obstacles seem
To get in my way
Don't have time, not yet
This or that must be taken care of
Or either the words don't show up
But we read in God's Word
To take care of matters daily
To trust in Him, not to fret
Sometimes it's hard to spiritually listen
When earthly needs demand our attention
And clamour for help...for our existence
So, when can we write?
In our spirit if we hear
A message loud and clear
And it won't leave us alone
We must realize that God wants it done.
Therefore we will make the time
Even... if it's in the middle of the night
Lose some sleep...and so we write.
Because that's what God has called us to do.
