Lord I pray that you will put your words into my mouth
Words to heal and words to help, faith in you to sprout
Help my words and voice to remind the reason that we're here
To hold you up in glory so you can free a nation paralyzed with fear
Oh Lord give me the words to show these people exactly who you are
Our Loving Savior come to save the world and take them from the dark
Lord let the power of your truth be heard in every word I speak
Words that heal and words to hope and drive the world to seek
Lord let them know the beauty of your grace with every sound I make
So love, joy and peace can live in the most barren of this place
Oh Lord use my words, my voice to be your tool to help others win the race
That echo's on through out the age as each new runner pick up the pace
With God's light upon their face
