Having participated in a Bible memory contest
Pondering over Solomon’s following context
In vain you rise early and stay up late,
Toiling for food to eat, your stomach to satiate
For God grants sleep to those He loves.
I questioned, “Where’s God if He moves?’
With everything becoming a commercial hubbub
Will true love fill anyone’s life tub?
At a busy signal the van I traveled suddenly halted
Everyone experienced fear as it terribly jolted
Vehicles of various forms and size made noises
Whilst drivers at short notice adjusted their poises
That’s when the van’s roof hit my head
I felt God gently stroking my head
Through the glass window I saw
Patches of nature without any flaw
Before me like a power-point presentation
Flashed amidst that uproaring situation
A stout tree peacefully stood
Rustling, “Hey everything is good”
With lusious green leaves below
Against a background of brownish yellow
With candle stand like branches atop
Two huge honeycombs hung with bees buzzing non-stop
The honeybees to me spoke
They sure my thoughts did provoke
“Here are we, witnessing God’s glory
Never question God nor anymore worries carry.”
God answered me through those insignificant insects
“Fathom not My wisdom by human intellect
If I can care for bees My dear
Will I allow you drop a tear or live in fear?”
