It is interesting to consider the many different philosophies pertaining to the possibilities of our free will. Many believe that all events are connected and influenced by the daily decisions we make but just how much of a difference we make is a question for the ages. The idea that man dictates all events gives creation a dominant amount of control and authority that is built upon the fantasies of an over inflated ego. I am an opponent of this helter-skelter view as a result of many years of personal study. I am not suggesting that humans do not have a limited amount of faith but man’s imagination can lead to a distorted conscience about who really holds the strings. The idea of faith has been changed from drawing nead to the will of God to creating our own path. Confidence is being encouraged to follow our calling and destiny not to disregard God's voice and be filled with charismatic rebellion. The true reality is that humans are neither great nor powerful; they are just a tool in the hands of the gardner. The creator receives all glory and honor and is worthy of ALL praise. If the destiny of the world hinges completely on the strength and wisdom of mankind then we all can pity such a cosmic waste of time. And if God is just a visionary that lives each day hoping the world will reach the summit then I also presume many people picture him pacing the floor, panicking as a nervous wreck. A supreme deity living each day like a worried gambler does not portray the omniscience and total authority the great “I AM” deserves. I am persuaded the world is being guided as a controlled environment and is a manifestation of predestination instead of existing as a spiritual game of chance. This conviction exalts the divine creator as the writer, producer and the director of a movie called, “heaven and earth” – and we are rightly ackowledged as mere actors trying to follow the script. Since I believe the destiny of the world has never been left in the hands of this cast of bumbling mortals then it only seems logical (and I proclaim)to also believe in a divine creator, which is completely opposite of the doctrines of hopeless humanism. How amused God must be to listen to the intellectual speeches and to read the scientific textbooks about how everything just happens by itself. God must sometimes shake his head at how foolish and ignorant his humans can be as they pull on the long straps of their own psychic boots. How arrogant for the creation to not even acknowledge the existence of their own creator.
God is Alpha and Omega which means he knows everything eternally backwards and eternally forwards. He has seen everything that is going to happen since he spoke everything into existence. To him it has already happened. A perfect example of predestination is found in Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it”. HE has made it, formed it and planned it BEFORE it is played out. You notice this is not referring to just one specific day but rather each and every day until the last day is finished. This movie has already been filmed in the higher dimension where God lives but we who live in the natural realm must settle to watch it unfold as it happens in “real time”. So would it not make sense that he is guiding his own vision exactly where he desires it to go?
We live in time realm where all things are related or influenced by time. This earthly or natural realm is separated by a veil that prevents us from being able to see into the spiritual realm. The small amount of freewill that God graciously gives is carefully woven into the overall fabric of his perfect and finished design. The foreknowledge of God allows him to shape and mold the pieces of the puzzle to form the intricate picture that satisfies his sovereign will. Every action is connected to a response which builds a much more complex system of reason far beyond human comprehension. When mortals try to understand the spirit realm with their brain it is like two ships passing in the night. These are two different frequecies that cannot be connected. The revelation of God and the spirit realm for people who look through the lenses of carnal reasoning can be compared to a moth comprehending what is going on as it flies around inside a nuclear laboratory.
