Wow here is 50 and what have I done
From the moment I awaken to the setting of the sun.
Did I speak of YOUR glory & heaven with every breath that I expelled?
Or kept my tongue unguarded & brought myself closer to hell.
And how about those days when I treated myself like some carnival ride.
So many ups & downs, still YOU were by my side.
Together we laughed…and YOU held me when I cried.
Some days I felt so lonely & forgot YOU were by my side.
They say with age your site will start to go.
But I see things clearer, and now I know.
YOU were always JESUS before I was made.
And YOUR blood that YOU shed was the price for my sins that YOU paid
Now I see YOUR works & glory where ever I go.
From the clouds in the sky to the waters below.
And it’s really cool when we go on adventures and go to new places
Meet new people see new faces.
Hanging out with YOU sweet JESUS has been really nifty.
I still can’t believe that I made it to 50.
