God Has Blessed America
It Is Time For America To Bless God
In faith our Founding Fathers prayed,
Together as they built this land,
The firm foundation that they laid,
The Providence of God's Own Hand.
Through all the battles we have known,
The trials we have shared,
This nation has not walked alone,
Our God was always there.
We call ourselves a "Christian" nation,
But it strikes me as quite odd,
That those we vote to power and station,
Want to rid our land of God.
From Commandments in a court of "law",
To the prayers in our schools,
We've lost the vision that they saw,
Professing wise...becoming fools.
To our shame, we have lost direction,
Affecting this great land's survival,
If we would keep our God's protection
We need a "Heaven-sent" revival.
There is still hope for our great nation,
'Tho it won't be found in battles won.
It comes from finding True Salvation,
Through our Lord Jesus, God's Own Son.

What a wonderful piece. The best part is, it is SO true. It is time for a revival of the Christian Faith before we lose ALL of our freedoms. A good, wake up America poem!
