Abiding, Abiding in the Vine

I remember the song we used to sing in our choir...it goes like this...

I found a new way of living
I found a new life divine.
I found the fruit of the Spirit.
By Abiding, Abiding in the Vine.
Abiding in the vine. Abiding in the Vine.
Love, joy, health, peace, He has made them mine.
I have prosperity, power and victory.
Abiding, Abiding in the Vine.

Some may discard this as an old Sunday school song, yet the words still speak to us in every scenario.

Jesus said :-

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me."

John 15:4 (New King James Version)

Someone truly said...'There is no failure in God's will and no success outside of God's will.'

We can only be fruitful by abiding in the vine.

The vine is the Lord Jesus Christ and we are the branches, unless our lives are connected to God in His love and our perfect obedience we can never be fruitful in life.

I regret the precious moments of my life when I stayed away from God's will, as a branch decays and dry off to be good for nothing if it is detached from the plant, so was my life when I was away from God's will in my life.

If we want a blessed today and a blessed future we need to abide, abide in the wine.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Keep telling them brother! Abide, I say, ABIDE! Abide defined is, remain, reside, await, endure, keep or obey. If would just do what He says! Brother, you might want to look at the last word you have wrote here. Not that I don't mind a little wine!
