If you trust in people who say they will help
And they turn out to be dogs that just bark and yelp.
And when you put your faith in mankind
Remember to bend over for a swift kick in the behind.
For there is ONLY ONE in whom you can trust
Who does not give lip service, and is true and just.
Yes I speak about JESUS who is in Heaven above
In HIM you can trust in, in HIM you have love.
Isn’t it wonderful to have GOD who is straight and not bent
Who keeps to HIS word & never will misrepresent.
So when you feel your plate is too full
And you are overwhelmed with all of the bull.
Just open yourself wide
And have JESUS come inside
For this you see is a must
To be open to GOD who you can really trust…
