The eyes are windows of the heart
Wherein transparency will show
A myriad feelings to impart
From where in sadness tears do flow.
The eyes are windows of all cares
Display the sad and wearied soul,
Distant looks and empty stares
Reveal a man who is not whole.
The eyes are windows too, of Kindness
Touching looks that give embrace,
Blessing one words of forgiveness
Of bitter hurts there is no trace.
The eyes of Love are open windows
Giving joy, shared happiness,
Reaching forth to let one know
They always seek to bless with Goodness.
