A voice calls out from the darkness for me to hear
It seems far away like a whisper in my ear.
Sometimes it is just my name or a single word
The voice is re-assuring, like wings to a bird
And when all is quite it is easier to understand
It speaks about a Savior, a good and righteous man
And how I should follow what he has done
This Man called JESUS, GOD’S only son
As I listen closer to this voice now I do see
That this voice I recognize, because this voice is me…
