Advertising on the Boards

Following a quite dramatic increase in the number of spammers on the FaithWriters' Message Boards over the last few months, members should be aware that all posts that are purely advertising services or products, with nothing to do with writing at all, will be removed immediately. This is in keeping with the rule that advertising is not allowed on these boards.

However, if a member has been actively involved on the boards, and in the FaithWriters' community, for some time, and wants to share their new website, or tell other members about their new business, that will most probably be viewed in quite a different light. Even so, posts that are purely for advertising purposes--even by long time members--should be avoided.

Advertising on your signature would be a good alternative though.

Zac, when active, legitimate members promote their website or business in their signature line, that's fine.
