Eileen's going into the 8th grade in Ohio Virtual Academy this fall and is in the process of seeing which subjects she'll be able to take early at the high school level, including Algebra, English, and Physical Science. It is partly based on grades (all A+s/As and one B as of right now, if she gets her last remaining work all to 100%, instead of 90+%, she'll have A+s in those, too, except Composition, it's a solid B, which we're both happy with lol), her OAA scores (which we will get in June), and a Algebra placement test. Oh, her Scantron results figure in, as well, which need to be above average, and they are.
She just took the math placement test and got a 93.7%, and only needed a 75% to qualify! Depending on her OAA scores, she may even qualify to take the Honors version of Algebra and/or English.
Her only complaint.... she wants to take Chemistry, but that's not what is offered yet. lol.
