The whole and only reason for it

Postby Katy Foster » Tue Mar 25, 2014 11:59 pm

I had my first book published about one month ago: "From a Boy to A Godly Man: A Boy's Bible Study of David." I wrote the book for my 11-year-old son -- still a child, yet he sees manhood up ahead.
Feeling a lot of anxiety about the book "out there," I asked my son at dinnertime, "How is the Bible study going?"
He looked at me so seriously and began to tell me what he has been reading in I Samuel. All about David, Saul, and Goliath. He talked about GOD'S Book, not my book.
God reminded me, through my son, why Christian writing is needed: for HIM! To solely point to HIM!
Psalm 115:1
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
But to Your Name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth.

Thank you for the opportunity to share this.

Amen and amen. The only reason we draw breath is to point others to Him.

Blessings, Graham.
May we all get eyes to see and ears to hear,
A Revelation of His Word, crystal clear.
Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.

My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham
