Hello from North Texas

Postby GraciesJoy » Wed Feb 05, 2014 3:59 pm

Hi-

In a matter of a couple of days I went from signing up as a silver member to going for the Gold. I love it here. :superhappy

I've read several articles from other members. There is amazing talent on this site and it is very encouraging to those of us who are new.

Yesterday, I entered the writing challenge and today, I'm working on my first poem for my author page.

Hope everyone is staying warm. The wind chill here is 4. :brrr

Welcome and enjoy.

Glad you jumped right into the Challenge; it is a great way to improve your writing skills.

Blessings, Graham.
May we all get eyes to see and ears to hear,
A Revelation of His Word, crystal clear.
Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.

My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham

HI Gracie Welcome to FW! It's exciting that you already did the gold membership. There are so many wonderful benefits here. The challenge is a wonderful way to hone your writing skills and hopefully get some feedback. I used to try to read and comment on every entry, but lately I barely have the time. Not sure why but ...hopefully I'll be able to again soon.

It's cold here too. It's been a hard winter. Someone said it was warm at 15 degrees. We've had so many sub zero temps this year plus tons of snow. We just got at least another 15 inches yesterday and another storm is coming in on Sunday. (I live in Western NY near Rochester and Buffalo) :brrr

Thank you Shann.

This is a great community! Here I was talking about the cold and then I saw how cold it was in your neck of the woods. Hope you're having a great week. God bless :D

Cold is all relative. My hubby would prefer it be in the 80s all day but I like it cold. It has been a rough winter all over this year. We are joking because the weatherman will say it's going to be warmer tomorrow with the highs being in the low teens. Normally that would be really cold, but this year it feels like a heat wave!
