Wow! I placed! (Does this mean I have to move up? It's not an EC lol.)

Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
Congrats everyone
I guess when you have no yellow boxes until you beg then end up with only 3 it's a sure sign that no one said -"Oooh, read this one!"
Back to the drawing board!

Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
Not always. There's really no pattern to comments vs placing. I still have to go back and read bricks for the last two challenges. I didn't get a chance to, yet.

Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
Hi - I know second place in the Beginner category may not be much, but for my first attempted at the Challenge I'm thrilled. I want to thank everyone for the helpful, uplifting comments. I'm so glad to be a part of Faith writers - and trust God will use this to help me be a more effective tool in His hands.

Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
It's a great beginning, Trudy. And FAITHWRITERS is a great place to make that beginning.
Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
Because you have spent so much time as a Moderator, when others have spent their time honing their writing skills for Challenge, I think you ought to be made an honorary 'Master', Shari.RedBaron wrote:Wow! I placed! (Does this mean I have to move up? It's not an EC lol.)

Re: Winners for the ENDLESS Challenge
I have to tell you that's pretty impressive. You should be thrilled because you're in with some competitive writers. The more you write and the more you read other challenge articles the better you'll get. God has great plans for you! Congratulations and keep writing!trudynewell wrote:Hi - I know second place in the Beginner category may not be much, but for my first attempted at the Challenge I'm thrilled. Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but I detect a little discouragement in your words. And I want to urge you not to be deterred by so few comments on your submission. I'm glad to see that you're going "back to the drawing" board." I can't tell you how many well-known authors had to do the same thing before someone said, "Ooh, I GOTTA read that one."
I know how discouraging it can be, but you have to believe in yourself and what God can do. Keep writing, reading other articles that placed, and taking every opportunity to learn.
We all started at the beginning.
Blessings
Lillian
