Holiday Blessings.

Postby JesusPuppy » Tue Dec 03, 2013 4:37 pm

Booooy do I feel stupid. Just got a holiday greeting in the mail from "Mike and Bea Edwards", and thought.. Wow, they're name sound familiar. I know them. Where do I know them from.

As I said.. Boy, do I feel stupid. :(

Happy Holiday, to ALL the family.

You know a lot of folks so it's not necessary to feel stupid.

Just wanted you to know we are thankful for your selfless support!

Conference will be in Chicago this year. Hoping you bring MORE fudge :bow

I got a card the other day, as well. Thanks! It was a really nice change from the bills and junk mail :)

Odd - I didn't see the reply when I posted about it being in Chicago.... do we have dates yet? I've got friends not far from there (had to drive through there to visit them about 4 years ago). Might be able to make it a double trip and bring my hubby along this time :) It'd be a hard sell, though, because he hates Chicago lol.

No definitive date yet but we are hoping for the end of July beginning of August.

Exciting if we can make it happen because it is easily accessible to many FW's members, which is the whole idea!

I'm excited about Chicago too. Other than Rochester NY, it would be in my top selections. I might be able to talk family into coming and staying to see a Cub's game. I went to Wrigley field when Q was 8 or 9 and started doing research for my MC, Wrigley Grace Fieldings. The folks at Wrigley Field were wonderful and gave me books and all kinds of information as well as gloves for the kids. I think I'm due for more research though, plus I really want to go to the conference. (Try to book it in a week when the Cubs are home! )

Oooo! Chicago! Yay! I can fly to Chicago cheaply, if I decide not to drive. But it's also a drivable distance. Works for me!

Yup, it's most definitely a drivable trip.
