Wow a whole month without any hi's, howdies, yo's or anything. So Hi ya all. It's snowing in Western NY! :brrr

So does anyone here have a roomba? I want one so bad and have for years, but hubby says it's silly because place is somewhat small and cluttered. My response was well you vacuum everyday then! He did vacuum over the weekend, but not as good as a roomba would! We have a long-hair dog and two cats and woodstove and it really needs vacuuming every day but with my health problems I can't do it.

Hi!

Shann, your place sounds wonderful. I have no idea what a Roomba is. I have a Eureka that works pretty well.

Wish I had that woodstove, though!

A Roomba is a round vacuum robot. According to Consumer Reports, they don't do all that great of a job in vacuuming.
At work, I was using a Dyson upright and hated it. Finally, after months of gentle cajoling, they finally got some new bags for my beloved Sebo X5 Automatic upright, and I am so happy! It's a German made vacuum, and since I am of mostly German descent, I like to say we understand each other! New, Sebos cost around $700, but believe me, they're worth it! My favorite feature on the Sebo is that when the bag is full--and I mean really full--the vacuum stops by itself and the red light over the "Full Bag or Clog" symbol blinks. No doubt about when to empty the bag! For allergies, bagged is better than bagless.

Hi - after prayer breakfast, Tai Chi, and Bible study I will be spending the rest of the week with 9yo grandson who fell out of his bunk-bed, broke a tooth, and now has 4 stitches in his mouth. He actually rolled over the rail in his sleep. Ah, the life of little boys ...
