Most just think it is bad business on the company's part and not another company trying to close us down. I know it sounds like I'm a conspiracy nut, maybe I am, but it still seems way odd.

Shortstuff I hope it was a big car.

Yeah, I've heard from Little Bird. She can't figure out her low-grade fever - poor girl. :(

Amy is doing good. I'll nag here to get online. I'm afraid the Rest Stop will die off soon if people don't start coming back. I used to check in everyday, but somehow a whole week went by. It used to be if that long went by, there would be pages of chatting to catch up on.

Today is our 21 anniversary! And it's snowing. I went out and scraped I love you and Happy Anniversary in hubby's car. Probably would have been more romantic to scrape all the ice off, but call me a sentimentalist or a mentalist or lazy! It was cold out there at 4 am and the dog took forever to do his business. I've never pooped in the snow so maybe that has something to do with it... :brrr

My hubby might, but I'll take cold over hot any day. I just wanted my Brussels sprouts to sprout. I had huge leaves and strong stalks with itsy bitsy balls. I was hoping maybe I could nurse them along, though I planted them in June so they should have grown. I had lots of cabbage though.

Brussel sprouts!!! Perhaps my hubby would like some of those. They're probably his favourite vegetable.

HEY, speaking of "sprouts", that used to be my married name. AND my best friend's last name was BEAN, like seriously. When we all came to church bring the little neighborhood munchkins, the pastor would stop and say, with a huge smile on his face, "here comes the bean-sprout express.

SOOOOOO, what the heck have y'all been up too? Shannikins, I know you been playing in the snow and thinkin' bout coloring it brown  , but besides that, how's ewes health? Amykins and Bluejay, you too, for that matter.

As for me....been on a rollercoaster ride with health issues with the peeps I work for. Actually, they are like family to me and the latest sorrow is the little man I work for. Looking at prostate cancer that has spread. :( However, he knows the Lord, amen and amen and amen, and knows that my roommate (his girlfriend), will be with him through this journey until Almighty God takes him home. We're praying that will be in his sleep.

Not to bum everyone out....but I just had to put my last kitty down    . He was the last of the siblings. I had three, and they all had to be put down just a few months apart. They were 15 years old. So, now more critters right now except my roommates basset hound (pepper) and boy is he cute with a personality to boot. It's been comforting to have him around.

Well, you know the routing, gotta go and git ready to take another lady to the Dr's office for follow up on her hip replacement. BUT, can't leave you without some colorful, cheery pics!

Your dog looked like a cat? :D

Holly right? I've missed you and am glad you're back. Things are good. Amy and I were busy editing the testimony book. My testimony, Amy's, Allison's, Laura's and Rachel's are all going to be in it too.

So why am I making snow brown? Purple yes, but brown?

Becky where for art thou?

Yep they had a contest and the top 40 testimonies were selected for a real book that will be out at the end of the year. It's an amazing project and I'm honored to be a part of writing and editing.

Becky just hasn't been in in a day or two. I'm texting her now.
