Challenge feedback layout

Postby Mike Newman » Wed Sep 04, 2013 4:46 pm

Hello all,

This suggestion is concerning the page that loads up when you are submitting a comment/critique on challenge entries. You get only the comment box, and are unable to see the entry on the same page. If I'm not mistaken (and I could be), when you do this same thing on an article within the critique circle, you can view the entry on the same page.

The format on the critique circle page is much nicer, making it easier to refer back to the article as you critique/comment.

Can the challenge entries be set up in a similar manner?

Thanks for listening,

I usually just open it up in a new tab, but that's a good idea.

I've felt the same thing I few times, but I guess I just got used to opening a new tab and haven't bothered to ask. But it is a good idea.

Maybe a better place to ask this question is in Mike and Bea's corner so that Mike will see it; he's the one who would make this decision.

God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham

Thanks a bunch Mike. I, too, have always wanted to make that suggestion, just never did. I certainly would be more inclined to comment more often.

That's been suggested in the past. It would be a great addition.

For now, though, here's a tip. Right click on the link to leave feedback. When the menu opens, ask for it to open in either a new tab or a new window. That way you can move back and forwards very easily from the article and the feedback submission box.
