The OP states: "Scripture references are available for each and every fact below."
Heads Up: dis iz an invitation to query my "facts".
So, Scriptures for which fact would thou likest to see?
Please don't say, "All of dem!" ... thanks.
Well, you can read any number of my posts here, or read my writing, and find out more about me. Or ask nicely.
But short version, I was raised in a Christian home, attended a Christian church for most of my life, accepted Christ as my Savoir, according to Scripture at 10 years old, I'm now 44. I continued to grow and be challenged in my faith, especially in my college years. I was faced with "Christians", including the college chaplain who said things like "Jesus didn't really know what he was saying in the Bible, it was like God was using him like a megaphone and speaking through him." or, "There are many paths to heaven." His wife owned a "new age store". I could go on and on. I kept comparing everything he said to what the Bible said, and my faith grew, becoming even more sure of my faith and God's truth.
My husband grew up in the Southern Baptist church, and we currently attend a Bible Baptist church. We have three amazing kids, two of whom have already accepted Christ at a young age. Our oldest is a great prayer warrior, and one of her answered prayers is her brother and sister lol.
I believe that the Bible is 100% God's word and true, 100%. There are no "conflicts" that can't be understood, once we look at things with the proper view, ie lead by the Holy Spirit and with an understanding of the Jewish and other cultures at the time, as well as the original Greek and Hebrew texts.
I have been a member of FaithWriters since 2005 and am a moderator on the forums. And last time I checked, this forum is full of a LOT of my brothers and sisters in Christ, many of whom I've had the extreme pleasure of meeting in person at the writing conferences. We may have a few doctrinal differences - that are not things that pertain to salvation at all, but of the ones I've gotten to know well, I know I'll see them in heaven some day.
And yes, I will say all of them, not "all of dem", as I prefer to use proper English. You made a bunch of statements, and said they are available, so provide them. I should not have to look things up to validate YOUR statements, as I don't know what scriptures you decided back up your views. That's your job.
