Yes, plateaus are part of the process. This is the third time I've done this, and I have to say that the first 20 lbs. *tends* to drop pretty quickly, and then your body figures out that it's losing, so it freaks out. My 20 lb. plateaus got longer each time, too.
Good news is if you keep working at it and changing up your routine, your body will give in eventually.
I've been calculating my recipes and they are way more points than I thought. Hmph! That's what happens when you choose organic and non-artificial over fat-free - one of the challenges with the WW program. They promote fruits & veggies & foods that fill you up without as many calories, but the dairy free options aren't low in fat, so they get higher points.
Sigh. Just gotta stick with it. I'm still going over my points but I'm at least tracking them.
