Right now I need prayers for Lyd., she came home from college yesterday to find the dog we have had since kindergarten wasn't doing good. She called me in tears. Afraid the dog was going to die in her arms, she was so upset. The dog has a hernia but because she is so old they don't think she would survive the surgery. I feel so bad for my daughter. Though the dog seems better today.

O dearest Shann,
I just saw this post-where have I been since Wednesday? Goodness gracious I am praying for all your pain to be miraculously healed in our Great Physicians wonderful powerful name. Jesus take your daughter Shann and do what only you can do, restore her to wholeness.

I'm not sure I talked to Lyd this morning and she seemed to be a bit better. We have been debating what is the best thing to do. I know euthanasia is probably the most humane, but it's hard to make that decision. She is really quite old, but she doesn't seem to be in any pain, she just wants to be on her soft bed and just sleep but she will get up and go to the bathroom. There aren't any emergency vets out here. The only one is open on Mon and Tues

Hi all thank you so much for prayers. I just got home a few hours ago. Hopefully I will bounce back soon. The dog did end up dying. It hit me hard when I came home and she didn't greet me. We brought her home the day of my grandma's funeral so I always connect her to her. She has been a great dog and 16 years or so is a good life for her. I am so grateful I have my other dog and am going to work hard at getting him certified to visit patients in the hospital.

Thanks again. Your love and support means so much to me.

Hi Shann,

Glad you are home. We lost 3 dogs in the last couple of years. One just this winter. It does hurt. We are still praying for you.
God Bless, Mike
