So, Moderators feel free to move it.

But, is there anybody feeling the need/urge to do a deep edit on some essays I'm working on finishing up. I do have a deadline, and the more eyes I can get on it the better off I'll be. My deadline is Monday night (sooner the better). It's 7 short essays (3,600 characters or less) and I can email it or put it in g-docs for you. Any takers?

The Water Cooler is usually a safe bet. The Open Forum is more for writing related questions so you may want to post it there too.

The best way to get a free detailed edit is to go to the Critique Circle. If the piece is super long, you may find people find it a bit overwhelming so you may want to just submit just as page or so. You do need to be a paying member to take advantage of the Circle and be willing to help others too by critiquing someone's work to earn a credit to post your piece. (Everyone is given one credit to start off with, but if you want more, you need to keep the Circle going by leaving feedback for others.

Also, there is a place on the main page of the Circle where you can ask for someone who does professional editing for a small fee.
