Where to post?

Hi All!

Just stopped by to have a look at the many wonderful posts here at your forum - am interested in becoming a particpant in your Devotional section. I have been writing words of encouragement and inspiration for the Lord for a while now, and wouldn't normally consider myself a "writer" as such, but someone who likes to share what I believe the Lord has put on my heart. Would it be possible to create a new space I wonder, for items not necessarily of a prophetic nature, but for words that the participant feels strongly about that have come from the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. Just my thoughts.

I have a blog set up with some of these short pieces, and am wondering if it would be OK to share some of these. Of course, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hello - me again - I guess I am answering my own post ha ha. Have just been REALLY ENJOYING your Encouragement from the Word section and am thinking perhaps I may fit in there. Might give it a try over there and see what happens...

I think the encouragement thread will be a wonderful place to post your work.

Have you popped into the newbie nook yet to introduce yourself and let other's welcome you to the site.

Another place you might want to post would be the the Water Cooler. I think that might get more traffic and more people will see them. Also the theology board is another good place where people share and talk about different topics related to the Bible.

Hopefully, you'll find a place to settle into and start meeting some awesome friends. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. I believe God may have sent you to our little family for some awesome reasons.

I think it's an awesome responsibility to preach the gospel and I hope I can make some sort of contribution here for what it's worth - something that will be of value to the readers and the advancing of His Kingdom! Amen! Love all the smilie's - I tend to use them alot ha ha! God bless! Might take a look at the theology board too, although it sounds like the more brainy ones in Christ might hang out there LOL!

Hi Shann - my main focus of visiting here is to get God's word out to as many folk as I can and I'm hoping that I can serve God in a way that will bring Him all the glory for these words that I believe He places on my heart. Do you think it would be wise to post the same post twice, say in the Encouragement from the Word section and then again in the Water Cooler section? I am really enjoying this site and hope to be a participant for many years to come! Hope I am not going overboard, but I do think it would be great if I could post where there is high traffic! What are your thoughts? Thanks.

I think that would be fine. You may want to consider the weekly challenge as that is by far the most read place for articles. You do have to be a paying member but it's worth it if you can afford it.

Thanks for your advice, although I am not sure that a writing challenge is my style. When it comes time to write something, I like to go to the Lord and just write whatever He gives me - I cannot think of these things by myself - it's all Him! I don't think I could write anything on my own that would be worth reading lol. Unless it is Him, I can't do it! Will pray about it though - perhaps I could give it a go and see what He gives me? Perhaps something 'off the record' just for an experiment. Again, it will have to be all Him hallelujah!
