Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little information. I'm currently writing what will hopefully be my first novel. I'm working on a scene, which has to do with food people have thrown out at fast food places. Am I allowed to mention the names - Burger King, McDonald's, etc? And am I allowed to name the products, such as a Whopper? I don't want to step into muddy water.
Thank you for your advice

You can--if you get permission from them to do so. It might be easier to make up a name.

Thank you very much Glorybee, I'll definitely make up the names.
