Throw a Brick for REST

Wait for the Throw a Brick post for a topic then start posting direct links to your entry. The Throw a Brick thread will begin on the Tuesday before the winners are announced.

Throw a Brick for REST

Postby Deb Porter » Fri Jan 25, 2013 5:01 am

The final tally has been done, and we have our winners for the week (nice and fast so the judges can all have a tiny rest before moving on to the next lot of entries). So, if you had an entry in for the REST Challenge, now is the time to point a few more readers your way (as well as read some other great entries). It's time to "throw a brick" straight to your entry.

All you have to do is reply to this post with a direct link to your entry. :D If you aren't sure how to do that, we have a guide to help you here:

How to Post a Link to Your Entry

If you join in the brick throwing fun, please make sure you read and review the other brick throwers' entries as well. (There's a lot of good reading in there.)

(As always, if you would like a sample rating sheet to use when reading entries, please see this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=33906 )

Have fun!

Love, Deb

My story was written at the last minute. I'm sure there are things I should have noticed so please be liberal with the colored ink. Everything in the sleep journal really happened to me. :o (Or so my family says)

Wow, what speedy judges we have. Here it is at 6:30 am on a warm summer Saturday downunder, and several FW family members have posted already. And those judges are also very kind and generous - as I discovered to my great surprise last week! Thank you to everyone who scanned and commented on that entry.

This week I'm touching onto my passion of seeking to make personal witnessing more personal, and I welcome your feedback for...

Use any colour ink you wish, as my passion also needs to be personal...

Richard's Profile

Real grace is God's invisible hand reaching down and touching the heart of sinful man. It is not restricted to only a select few. It does not hesitate, but boldly goes where no man has gone. The grace of God goes the distance to reach those deep hurting and bleeding places. But more than that it takes and heals and delivers and restores. We should all want to get in that special place where God pours out His healing grace...R. Hicks

Okay, I ventured into another genre, and may have wished I hadn't been dreaming. :D
For this one, I crave red ink. I do, really.

Once again, I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay late to the brick-tossing party! I guess I need to start checking on Fridays! I guess I'm still on the old brick time of Tuesdays! :)

Here's my link for what is probably a somewhat unusual piece for the topic:

Thanks to all who will read and comment!

Blessings,
Myrna
