Either really jealous or irritated...

Postby violin4jesus » Sun Jan 13, 2013 9:24 am

I'm either really jealous of this incredibly creative and humorous writing, or quite irritated because the guy who wrote it got paid with the money they steal I mean take from my checks.

Why can't I be paid to have this much fun?

This Isn't the Petition Response You're Looking For

P.S. You kind of have to be a sci-fi geek to get this one. Yes, Shari, that means you'll love it.

I join you in the jealousy department; though one wonders how (being in govt.) he could write this and hold his tongue so firmly in his cheek at the same time. Australian politicians are not flexible or as multi-skilled as that. However, I can't join you in your irritation because, being Australian, my taxes fund a totally different sense of humor.

Blessings, Graham.

Admitting our need to be drawn in,
Less of self, more of Him.

My prayer for us all.
God bless us with the Revelation of His Word, Graham

Is the article meant to be belittling the science advances we have? As much as some of them might seem frivolous, NASA has been the one to develop so many medical and useful advances from everything like Velcro to things like MRIs and CT scans.

Preeeeetty sure the point of the article is that no, the US government will not begin work on a Death Star, regardless of how many people signed the petition.

With ridiculous requests come ridiculous answers ;)
I didn't think it would happen.
Didn't think it could.
But now I feel foolish.
I feel like a boy thrust into war,
Becoming a man all in the moment of a first battle.
I'm sorry I couldn't see before,
My immaturity.
I promise I'll do my best to grow up.
To put God first in my life.
To not dwell on this hard time.
And that you'll always be my best friend... after God.
