Chontae, I just want to offer my opinion as well. If you believe God is calling you to do this, then you should do it. It's really only between you and God. Of course, I realize that is easier for me to say than it would be to do but try to keep that in your mind as this project proceeds.
I would be happy to help you a little bit free of charge. I would recommend getting a professional to help you edit it and smooth out the pieces. I think you'll find as you start writing it will just come to you. Like Shari said just go with it. That's what you will use editors and beta readers for, to figure out if this paragraph should be before this paragraph and so on.
I don't need to totally agree with what you are writing in order to help you smooth out awkward sentences. I may offer my opinion and say what I think or how the average reader may interpret a certain sentences to see if that is what you really meant to say.
My minister did his thesis for his doctorate on dreams. Basically what he said is God will use our dreams to talk to us as for many when they are asleep is the only time they let their guard or emotions down enough to be able to hear God's voice. In today's world, I'd be given a psych consult if I said I had heard God speaking directly to me. But that's just an aside.
What I gathered from your initial post is you need to find some places that will help you to start the writing process and there are tons of opportunities here to do just that. This thread is wonderful. It may not have had recent comments on it but the information is quite valuable. Here is the link

One of my friends wrote a booklet that has some great writing advice in it. Many people think the show don't tell only applies to fiction but there is great advice throughout this book that you will find helpful.
