The Raggedyman (Yes, It's Finally Published)

Hi, it's been awhile, but I've been working hard on getting this thing on the shelves. Now I'm in the marketing phase.

Runner Up in the 2007 Page Turner Awards, the goal for this book was to create something more frightening than Peretti's horror style with just as strong a message. According to those who have read this thing, I succeeded.

This is not Christian Horror. This is a Horror novel with a Christian message. There is mild swearing, brutal violence, and some very twisted supernatural warfare. I've toned it down to what it previously was, but I believe in not bearing false witness on how the world really is.

If you are still interested in a tale of a young man raised to be the Antichrist, the Christian doctor trying to give him therapy, and the supernatural war for New York that they both get thrown into... please. Enjoy this wild ride, and my first novel, The Raggedyman.

God help me, it has. I even spent a week in the nuthouse after I finished this thing, I got so obsessed over it and where it took me.

Moral of the story... never. Ever. Write a book to make it the most frightening tale imaginable. I put myself through a lot of mental trauma doing this book and if I do a sequel, it will not be with the same purpose in mind. I succeeded in my goal to make the most frightening Christian story I could muster, and I'm glad to be done with it.

Now to market it!

Congratulations...Here's praying for successful marketing. I had to chuckle a bit at your user name, as I read your description of the book.

I still have very vivid memories in my head from the opening chapters I read of the rough draft and that was how many years ago? Congrats on getting it out there at last! Will you be putting it on Smashwords as well?

I thought about it... I didn't know I could do both CreateSpace and Smashwords, though. ^_^

Yes, CreateSpace is print and Smashwords is e-book. You can do Smashwords and put the e-book directly on Amazon and Barnes & Noble if you like, as well. None of them need exclusivity (except Amazon's special KPD Direct program)--they just require that you offer the book for the same price at all locations (it will be a different cost for the paperback than the e-book, but all the e-books should be the same price).
