It was waaaay too quiet. Small town troubles I guess, everything closes. My day off and couldn't even go for coffee. Oh well I sat around the house and watched videos.

I been thinking... I know, not a good sign, but anyway... I was thinking about Bird's cat thing, and you know it don't sound as good. I mean I have heard of people that cant speak well and the saying about "Cat got your tongue," but not smelling right and saying "Cat got your nose...?" Naaaaa. just don't sound right.

Yeah, my roomie Diane says she's seen him--an old man who sits at the table and smiles. She said she's told him to go to his rest, that we'll take good care of his house. She says she hasn't seen him in a while, though.

If you check out the Sebo site--www.sebo.com--they are the most highly rated vacs in the world. I know it's sales talk, but I tend to agree. After all, they are German-made, and Germany makes some of the most reliable stuff ever. I like to say that since most of my heritage is German, we understand each other (me and the Sebo, that is.)!

Still, it's pretty annoying to not be able to find stuff. I'm not one to misplace things, either.

Ahh Pup you should have scooted out here, I would have given you a fresh bowl of coffee. I am sorry that you were alone though. I'm really blessed to have my amazing family even if they are all acting responsible and independent and leaving me for a husband or to go to Duke or to study to become a teacher. I mean really all that work to make them responsible independent adults and what thanks do I get? They up and leave me!

I love the cat got your nose comment! Kind of a twist on the ole thumb trick except this time instead of looking for her nose in someone's hand she has to dig through a litter box for it. (Yeah I know Amy's cat is super smart and goes outside not in a litter box but it didn't have the dame effect if I said dig through the outdoors.

Sorry you're not feeling good Becky, I'm having a yucky week too. I'm supposed to go to the doctor Friday (It's been a year) but I'm already talking myself out of it. I know I'm going to get the look because I never followed up and went to the neurologist and my left hand is getting more useless each day plus I've gained back a lot of the weight I lost. Stupid rice cake.

So where are some of our regulars? Kara hasn't been on in a long time nor has Seema or Barb popped in for a bit.

He's on both--the two are connected. HealKick is a general site and those of us on there who are Christians started the Bible study. So it's sort of a religious off-shoot of healKick.

That's funny about the dog looking for the cat. My cat mostly ignores my computer, but it's odd things like someone else's phone ringing that will get her attention. Hope your grandmother is doing better.

I have a question. Does anyone know about the Insurance thing that is supposedly going through..?

The company that owns the store I work at is trying to say all its employees have to pay for insurance through them or be fined for not doing so. As I don't go to doctors, I don't want or need insurance, (I would rather die than go to a doctor anyway) so why are they saying I HAVE to buy it?

Is there a law that I have to have it? That is kind of like telling me I have to buy a car, even though I can never drive it. Or telling a vegetarian they have to buy a slab of beef, even though they would never eat it. It just sounds dumb to me.

I have no idea, but it sounds like some illegal government plot to me.

Pup, I don't think they can MAKE you buy insurance but I don't know. I know that my Dad gets insurance through his company but he doesn't have to have it if he doesn't want it, I don't think.

And I know a lot of people say that because of Obama Care that people have to buy insurance no matter what or else. That isn't true either, the government CANNOT make you buy insurance. Besides what Obama care does is basically you buy insurance or you'll have to pay more taxes at tax season.

Anyway, You might have to google stuff but I don't think they can legally make you buy insurance IMO.

Ahhh, ObamaCare. Legally I agree that I don't think they should be able to force you to buy medical insurance. My understanding is that you have two options: you can get it, or you will be fined a larger fee than the costs of the health care premium would have been in the first place. So technically forced, no, but huge penalty if you don't do it, so pretty much forced.
