Another posting down the tubes! I wanted to mention that we have lived in 32 houses in 57 years of marriage. Each one is a story in itself and I don't even now know why or how we did it.

Please, if you haven't bought Verna's book yet, please get a copy for you and everyone who is dear to you! It's a great coffee table book, an end table book, a gift for a friend, a Christmas present, and on and on. You'll love it!

My posting was about 3 paragraphs long but since it evaporated, I condensed it into a few sentences. Maybe I should do that more often.

You will love Ernie's book. I had put their address to order it from on my posting, but I decided this is too broad a forum to list somebody's personal address. I don't know if I said that their publisher went bankrupt right after their book came out, but they have lots of copies--and that's a blessing for them.

OLE'S MINNESOTA FIRE INSURANCE

Ole and Lena moved back home to Minnesota from Arizona.

Lena had a wooden leg and to insure it in Arizona was $2,000.00 a year!!!

When they arrived in Minnesota, they went to an Insurance agency to see how much it would cost to insure the wooden leg.

The agent looked it up on the computer and said to the couple, "$39.00."

Ole was shocked and asked why it was so cheap in Minnesota to insure...because it cost him $2,000.00 in Arizona!!!

The agent turned his computer screen to the couple and said, "Well, here it is on the screen. It says: Any wooden structure with a sprinkler system over it is $39.00."

Well, my dad is home sick again today and I'm slowly getting better. The worst part is feeling exhausted enough that I feel like I can't do anything.

So that's I Cor. 10:13. I should have looked it up instead of just going from a list of verses I have in a Word file (where I didn't have it marked correctly even though I'm so careful about that) because I didn't start it at the actual beginning of the verse. I guess I thought the beginning of the verse was actually a previous verse. One more very good reason not to trust my memory. Sorry, folks. Who wants to start the next one?
